AI Feature Terms

Introduction

These AI Feature Terms (“AI Terms”) govern Customer’s and Users’ use of artificial-intelligence-assisted functionality in the Tauri Pro Service. They supplement the Customer Terms, AUP, and DPA and control for AI Features if there is a conflict. AI Features support human professionals; they are decision-support tools, not decision-making systems.

AI output is provided “as is” for informational and productivity purposes only. It is not professional, financial, legal, employment, medical, or safety advice. Tauri Pro does not warrant that output is accurate, complete, current, unbiased, or fit for any purpose and shall not be liable for loss arising from reliance on it. Qualified human review is required.

1. Description of AI Features

Depending on subscription tier, AI Features may include strategic-priority recommendations, project scoring, portfolio analysis, resource suggestions, risk identification, summarization, and generated outputs. Availability and behavior may change on reasonable notice. Output is a starting point for human review, not a substitute for professional expertise.

2. No Warranty on AI Output

AI output may contain factual errors, outdated information, hallucinations, omissions, duplication, bias, or unsuitable recommendations. It may not be unique and is not validated against any specific regulatory framework. Tauri Pro disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, uniqueness, freedom from bias, fitness for purpose, and regulatory compliance.

3. Limitation of Liability

• Tauri Pro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from AI Features.
• Tauri Pro is not liable for damage, regulatory action, or adverse consequences from decisions informed by AI output.
• Tauri Pro’s aggregate liability arising specifically from AI Features will not exceed the amount paid by Customer in the three (3) months preceding the claim, separate from the general Terms cap.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud or willful misconduct.

4. Customer and User Responsibilities

4.1 Human Review

Qualified human review proportionate to decision significance and risk is mandatory before AI output is used for business, strategic, financial, legal, employment, or operational decisions. Customer should maintain an internal AI-use policy.

4.2 Input Data

Customer must ensure AI Input is lawful, authorized, non-infringing, and does not include prohibited sensitive or confidential third-party data.

4.3 Output Review

Before acting on or distributing output, Users must verify facts, assess bias and context, confirm legal and policy compliance, and protect confidential information.

5. Data Use and AI Sub-Processors

AI Input may be transmitted to listed AI sub-processors solely to generate requested output. Provider identity, processing region, safety-monitoring retention, and applicable restrictions will be maintained in the current sub-processor list at tauri.pro/legal/subprocessors. Customers should review that list before submitting sensitive information.

Tauri Pro will not use Customer AI Input or resulting output to train, fine-tune, benchmark, or improve shared AI models without Customer’s prior express written consent. Shared-model training is off by default and any exception requires a separate written agreement. Irreversibly anonymized aggregate usage analytics may be used to improve reliability, safety, and performance.

6. Prohibited Uses

6.1 Unlawful Automated Decisions

AI output must not be the sole basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects where prohibited or restricted by law, and must not be used for unlawful profiling.

6.2 Discrimination and Bias

AI Features must not be used for unlawful discrimination or to knowingly amplify harmful bias against protected groups.

6.3 Deception and Impersonation

Users must not falsely present AI output as another person’s work, impersonate people or organizations, or mislead recipients about origin or accuracy.

6.4 Harmful and Illegal Content

Users must not violate laws on defamation, harassment, privacy, intellectual property, or export controls; facilitate violence, illegal activity, or exploitation; or develop malware, cyberattack tools, or unauthorized surveillance.

6.5 Safety Controls

Users must not bypass, jailbreak, or distribute methods for circumventing safety or content controls.

7. Enforcement and Consequences

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of AI Features or the Service and may be reported to competent authorities where required or permitted. Customer is responsible for User violations and must maintain controls to prevent misuse.

8. Changes

Tauri Pro may update these AI Terms, functionality, or sub-processors with reasonable advance notice. Legally required or safety-related changes may take effect immediately with notice as soon as practicable.

9. Regulatory Compliance

AI Features are general-purpose productivity tools and are not designed or validated for regulated high-risk uses such as clinical decisions, safety-critical industrial control, or high-risk use under the EU AI Act. Customer must assess its intended use and implement applicable safeguards, impact assessments, and human oversight. Tauri Pro does not provide regulatory or legal advice.
